“Eric is a PhD Candidate at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. His research focuses on the European Union, the politics of identity, and multilevel governance in international relations. He holds both a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Windsor, where he also served on the Model UN Executive Board for four years as vice president, among other roles. His academic work has been presented at peer reviewed conferences across North America and Europe, and has attended a number of Model UN conferences in Canada and the United States.”
Oshish Ungras is the Global Partnerships Coordinator for the International Students Overcoming War (ISOW) program at Wilfrid Laurier University. She is responsible for liaising with ISOW's global initiatives and partnerships, engaging with the Canadian government as a registered lobbyist, and planning ISOW’s first international conference in partnership with the UN Refugee Agency. Oshish has over four years of experience working with newcomer and refugee populations and holds a bachelor's degree in Global Studies with a specialization in Peace and Conflict and a Master's degree in Global Governance from the Balsillie School of International Affairs. Her research interests include human rights, international migration, and increasing access to higher education globally.
